Web design and SEO packages: what the SEO half of a website project should cover
What a web design and SEO package should cover in each of its 5 phases, from the page plan to the first…
Video & social · Video editing
We provide video editing for brands, founders and clinics that film but have no editor. Send us raw footage; get back finished, on-brand videos with cuts, captions, colour, clean sound, music and exports for every platform. Projects or a monthly package, whichever suits your filming rhythm.

Free video editing brief review
Three fields and you’re done. We look at what you have, say what we’d make and how, and check it against the problems we see most often:
Your plan comes by email as a PDF. If you want to discuss going ahead after reading it, we’ll set up a video meeting. We use your details only for this review.
Fit
Not the right fit if you need footage filmed for you. We edit what you or your creators shoot; we don’t run studio or on-location shoots.
Problems we fix
Nobody has time to sit through them and find the 40 seconds worth posting.
Every video has different fonts, colours and caption styles.
Echo, wind or a humming fridge that makes good footage unwatchable.
A 16:9 file uploaded everywhere, cropped badly on phones.
Freelancers who disappear, so timely content goes out weeks late.
Unlicensed tracks that get videos muted or ads rejected.
In 1:10 · animated
A short animated walk-through of the first checks in our audit. No sound needed: everything is on screen, and the transcript is below.
What we check first in your edits, an animated explainer of 1:10 with on-screen captions and controls to pause.
How we work
Part one of video editing is the style guide, made once. Before the first video editing job we agree how your videos look and sound: fonts and colours for on-screen text, the caption style, the intro and outro (or none), the music mood, the pace, and how your logo appears. It fits on one page, and every editor who touches your footage works from it, so video 40 looks like video 1.
Part two of video editing is the hand-off, made simple. You upload raw footage to a shared folder (phone clips are fine) with a short note: what the video is for, where it will run, and anything that must or mustn’t be included. For regular clients we set up a brief form so the note takes two minutes. Long recordings such as talks, webinars or interviews come with a rough idea of the best moments if you have one; if not, we find them.
Part three of video editing is the video editing itself. We select the strongest takes, cut out pauses and repeats, structure the video so the point arrives early, and add captions, on-screen text, B-roll and motion graphics where they help. Sound gets cleaned (noise, echo, levels) and mastered to a consistent loudness, and colour is corrected so skin and products look as they do in life. Our in-house pipeline covers editing, motion graphics, captioning and loudness mastering, which keeps a series consistent.
Part four of video editing is review. You get a first cut with a link where you can leave comments at the exact second, then a final cut with your changes. Most edits need one round of changes if the brief was clear; we’d rather ask a question before the edit than guess and recut. Captions are checked by a person against the audio, because automatic captions mishear names, products and numbers.
Part five of video editing is delivery for every platform. Each finished video is exported in the sizes it needs: 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 1:1 or 4:5 for feeds, 16:9 for YouTube and your website, plus caption files (SRT) for platforms that take them. Text sits inside each platform’s safe zone so buttons don’t cover it. Music is licensed for the use you need, including ads, and we keep a record of each track. Our client video work is shown anonymously: see real campaign results in our YouTube Ads results and TikTok Ads results.
Monthly video editing packages suit brands that film regularly. You get an agreed number of finished videos or edited minutes each month, a fixed turnaround and the same editors who know your style. Projects suit one-off needs: an event recap, a course, a set of testimonials from real customers who agreed to appear. Either way, we tell you before starting if the footage can’t support what you want, for example if the sound is too poor to save.
Good video editing starts before the footage arrives. New clients get a one-page filming guide written for phones: shoot in daylight facing a window, keep the phone horizontal or vertical as the platform needs and never switch mid-clip, record a few seconds before and after each take, use a cheap clip-on microphone for anything spoken, and film more close-ups than feels necessary. Those five habits fix most of the problems we otherwise spend editing time on, and they cost nothing.
Video editing sits next to the rest of our video work. Our video editing services also include an honest note at the start of each job if the footage has a problem we can only partly fix, such as wind noise, low light or a shaky camera, and a short filming tip sheet so the next batch is easier to edit and looks better. Long recordings can become a month of short clips through our Reels, Shorts and TikTok editing, finished ads can be cut into every length with ad cutdowns and versioning, and our captions and subtitles service covers translated subtitles for other markets.

How we use AI here
AI transcribes footage and suggests rough cuts, so editors spend their time on pace and story.
AI-assisted noise removal, reframing for vertical and caption drafts, each checked by a person.
Where it doesn’t help: judgement. Which take is honest, which moment is the hook and what to leave out are decided by an editor, and AI never adds things that didn’t happen.
What’s included

By industry
For jewelry brands, editing brings out close-up footage: steady, slow, colour-true, with sizes and materials in captions.
For fashion, editing is pace: try-ons and drops cut tight, on-beat and vertical, with the size the model wears on screen.
For luxury and high-ticket brands, the edit slows down: fewer cuts, clean sound and nothing that looks rushed.
