An AI commerce readiness sprint: the essentials done, in one project.

Most stores don’t need a year-long AI program; our AI commerce readiness sprint puts the basics in place. AI tools can read the site, products reach AI shopping channels with the right data, AI traffic and orders are counted, and the most important products are described properly. It runs as one fixed-price project with a clear end.

Free AI commerce readiness audit

We’ll check your store data, feeds and policies and send a PDF report within 2 workdays.

Three fields and you’re done. The PDF report shows what we found on your own pages and accounts, and the order we’d fix it in. It covers the problems we see most often:

  • AI tools can’t read the site
  • AI channels never configured
  • AI traffic invisible

Your PDF report comes by email. If you want to discuss going ahead after reading it, we’ll set up a video meeting. We use your details only for this audit.

Fit

Who it’s for

  • Shopify and WooCommerce stores that want to be ready for AI search and AI shopping without a retainer
  • Brands preparing for a busy season who want the AI basics in place first
  • Founders who want one project, one price and a clear list of what was done
  • Teams that will run things themselves afterwards and want a solid starting point

Not the right fit if you need ongoing content and mention work. The sprint sets up the foundations; continuous AI search work is a separate monthly service.

Problems we fix

What “not ready” looks like.

  • 01

AI tools can’t read the site

Bot protection or robots rules block search crawlers that AI tools depend on.

  • 02

    AI channels never configured

Agentic storefronts on by default with nobody checking products, prices or checkout settings.

  • 03

    AI traffic invisible

Visits and orders from AI tools mixed into other channels in GA4 and store reports.

  • 04

    Top products poorly described

The products that matter most have thin descriptions and empty attributes.

  • 05

    Policies that confuse agents

Return and shipping terms that differ between pages, feed and apps.

  • 06

    No baseline

No record of how AI tools answer buyer questions today, so no way to measure progress.

  1. What we check first for AI commerce readiness Five checks on whether AI tools can find, read and sell your products.
  2. 1. Can AI tools read the site? Bot protection and robots rules can block the crawlers AI tools depend on. OpenAI documents OAI-SearchBot for ChatGPT search. (Example store. Source: OpenAI crawler docs.)
  3. 2. Has anyone set up the AI channels? AI storefront options can be on by default, with nobody checking products, prices or checkout settings. (Example store.)
  4. 3. Can you see AI traffic? Visits from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot land in “referral” unless they get their own channel in GA4. (Example month.)
  5. 4. Are the top products described well? The products that matter most often have the thinnest descriptions and empty attributes. (Example store.)
  6. 5. How do AI tools answer today? A baseline of buyer prompts, re-run monthly, is the only way to measure progress. (Example baseline.)
  7. Then we fix them, in that order. Want this checked on your store? The free growth audit covers all five, in writing.

What the sprint covers

AI commerce readiness in four parts.

Part one is the AI visibility audit: your buyer questions checked in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini, a citation source map, and checks of crawler access, product data and tracking. It sets the baseline and decides the priorities for the rest of the sprint.

Part two is AI traffic tracking. A custom channel group for AI tools in GA4, purchase tracking checked on every checkout route, and AI-channel orders visible in your store reports. Shopify says orders from AI channels carry channel or referrer attribution; we make sure your reports use it.

Part three is AI shopping channels. On Shopify, we review agentic storefronts channel by channel, set checkout options and exclusions with you, and fix the Merchant Center data Google’s AI Mode and Gemini read. Off Shopify, we prepare feeds for the AI channels available to you. Details are on the AI shopping channels page.

Part four is your top products. We pick the products that matter most (often the top 20 to 50 by revenue or margin) and give them complete descriptions, attributes and feed titles, drafted with AI from your facts and checked by a person, following Merchant Center’s rules for AI-generated content. We also write store policies once, clearly, for every channel.

The sprint ends with a handover: what was changed, a re-check of the prompt set where changes have had time to register, and a ranked list of what to do next. You can work through it yourselves, or continue with monthly AI search optimization.

Why a sprint and not a retainer? Because AI commerce readiness is mostly setup work with a clear finish line: crawlers allowed, channels configured, tracking live, policies clear, top products complete. A fixed scope lets you see exactly what you paid for, and the readiness checklist at the end shows what’s done. Ongoing work only makes sense once the basics are in place and the baseline shows where the opportunity is.

What we need from you during the sprint is small but important: someone who can approve channel and checkout decisions, a source of truth for product facts (a spreadsheet or the people who know the products), and read access to your store, GA4, Search Console and Merchant Center. We agree the product list and the decisions in the first days, so the rest of the sprint runs without waiting.

How we use AI here

Where AI helps (and where it doesn’t).

  • Faster baseline

Scripts run the prompt set across engines, so the audit part of the sprint takes days, not weeks.

  • Product drafts

AI drafts descriptions and attributes for your top products from your own data; people check them.

Where it doesn’t help: choosing which channels and products suit your business. We give you the facts and a recommendation; the decision is yours.

What’s included

Deliverables

What you get

  • The AI visibility audit report and ranked fix list
  • AI traffic tracking set up and documented
  • AI shopping channels configured, with product data and policies fixed
  • A handover with the change log, next steps and a recorded walkthrough

Worked example, with illustrative figures for a hypothetical store (not a client result): an AI commerce readiness sprint for a 250-product store ends with a ranked list: first, 38 products missing GTINs in the feed; second, no shipping or returns policy in structured data; third, robots.txt blocking one AI crawler. Each item comes with the fix and who owns it.

Pricing

How pricing works

The sprint has a fixed price, agreed before we start, based on the catalog size and the number of products in scope. It starts at $600, one-off.

Just want the diagnosis? Start with the AI visibility audit.

By industry

What changes for your category.

  • Jewelry

For jewelry, the sprint focuses on exact attributes and clear return and resizing policies, which AI channels repeat to shoppers.

  • Fashion & apparel

For fashion, size and fit data and exchange rules come first, with the top sellers in each category described in full.

  • Luxury & high-ticket

For one-of-a-kind pieces, the sprint makes sure availability is exact and decides which items should be in AI channels at all.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Can’t find yours? Ask on WhatsApp or by email and we’ll answer it.

What is an AI commerce readiness sprint?

A fixed-price project that puts the AI essentials in place for an online store: an AI visibility audit, AI traffic tracking, AI shopping channels set up, store policies clarified and the top products fully described.

How is it different from the AI visibility audit?

The audit diagnoses and gives you a fix list. The sprint includes the audit and then does the most important fixes and setup work for you.

Does it work for WooCommerce stores?

Yes. Agentic storefronts are Shopify-specific, so for WooCommerce we prepare feeds for Merchant Center and the AI channels available, and the rest of the sprint is the same.

Will we be in ChatGPT after the sprint?

Your site will be readable by OpenAI’s search crawler and your products set up for AI channels, which is what’s in your control. Nobody can promise what an AI tool shows.

What happens after the sprint?

You get a ranked list of next steps. You can do them yourselves, hire anyone, or continue with our monthly AI search work.

Which products get new descriptions?

The ones that matter most to your business, usually chosen by revenue, margin or strategic importance, agreed with you before we start.

Do we need to be on Shopify Plus?

No. Agentic storefronts are available to eligible Shopify stores on standard plans, and the rest of the sprint works on any Shopify or WooCommerce plan.

Can the sprint run during a sale or launch?

Yes, but we avoid changing feeds and channel settings in the days around a big launch or sale. We plan the sprint dates around your calendar.

What does AI commerce readiness mean in practice?

That AI search tools can read your site, AI shopping channels receive accurate products and policies, AI traffic and orders are tracked, and your most important products are fully described. The sprint ends with that checklist ticked.
