Meta Conversions API on Shopify: set it up in 5 steps, then check it works
On Shopify, the Meta Conversions API is a setting, not a coding project. Here's how to switch it on in 5 steps,…
AI commerce · AI ads
Ad results depend on creative, and most stores can’t make enough of it to test properly. AI ads change the economics: AI tools help produce more hooks, copy, sizes and edits per idea, and the ad platforms now generate backgrounds, text and assets themselves. We use both with guardrails: real products shown as they are, claims your site supports, Google’s and Meta’s rules on AI content followed, and every variant judged on results, not novelty.

Free AI ads review
Three fields and you are done. We review your current ads and send where AI targeting and creative can help.
Your PDF report comes by email. If you want to discuss going ahead after reading it, we’ll set up a video meeting. We use your details only for this audit.
Fit
Not the right fit if you want AI images that change how your product looks, fake customer testimonials or AI influencers posing as real buyers. They mislead shoppers and break platform and consumer-protection rules.
Problems we fix
Generated images that change the color, shape or detail of an item lead to returns, complaints and Merchant Center problems.
Automatic text variations and image edits that add claims you can’t support or cheapen a luxury look.
Dozens of AI variants launched at once, with no test plan, so nothing is learned.
AI “customers” and synthetic testimonials, which the FTC’s rule on reviews and testimonials prohibits.
AI-written ads that sound like every other brand, because nobody gave the tool your voice or facts.
AI-generated product images submitted without the metadata Merchant Center requires.

Our approach
AI ads start from concepts, not tools. Each month’s creative plan sets the angles to test (a problem, a benefit, an objection, an occasion, social proof), drawn from reviews, customer questions and past results. AI then helps us make more of each concept: hooks, headlines, primary text, cut-downs, sizes and edits. The idea and the decision stay human; the volume comes from AI.
Product imagery follows one rule: the product is never altered. AI can extend a background, change a setting, resize for a placement or remove a distraction, but the item itself stays as it really is. Google Merchant Center’s page on AI-generated content requires AI-generated images to keep their IPTC DigitalSourceType metadata, and we keep it. For jewelry and luxury goods, where buyers judge detail, this matters even more.
The platforms’ own AI is powerful and needs settings. Meta offers generative AI features such as text variations, image expansion and background generation, and says advertisers are responsible for previewing AI-generated creative before publishing. Google’s Performance Max can generate assets from prompts and your site. We switch on what helps your brand, switch off what doesn’t, and review generated assets regularly.
Testing is where AI ads earn their keep, and where most AI ad creative programs fall short. Variants go out in structured tests: one variable at a time where possible, enough budget per variant to read a result, and a decision date. We judge winners on cost per purchase and contribution margin, not clicks, and log every test so lessons carry into the next brief, the same discipline as our ad creative production service.
Video is the fastest-growing part. AI helps with captions, translations, resizing for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, and simple motion from real product photos. We avoid AI avatars and deepfake spokespeople: disclosure rules apply, and buyers of considered products react badly to them.
For AI ads, your brand voice is written down before any AI tool writes a word: tone, words you use and avoid, claims that are allowed, and examples of ads that sound like you. That guardrails document goes into every brief and every tool, so AI ads sound like your brand rather than like every other advertiser using the same tools. It’s updated after each round of tests, as we learn which words and angles your buyers respond to.
Finally, compliance. Claims in AI-written copy must match what your site and product data say; reviews and testimonials must be real, as the FTC rule requires; and each platform’s ad policies apply to AI content as to any other. A person checks every ad before it runs.

How we use AI here
Many hooks, headlines and primary text options per concept, edited by a person for accuracy and voice.
Backgrounds extended, formats adapted for each placement, captions and translations, without altering the product.
AI helps tag each ad by hook, format and angle so the monthly report shows what wins.
Where it doesn’t help: inventing products, people or proof. No altered product images, synthetic customers or AI testimonials, ever.
What’s included
Concepts and angles to test, drawn from reviews, questions and past results.
Hooks, copy, sizes, edits and simple motion from your real product content.
Meta and Google generative features set deliberately, with generated assets reviewed.
Your rules for AI: what can change, what never changes, claims allowed, voice.
Variants tested with budgets and decision dates, judged on cost per purchase.
Winners, losers and why, tagged by hook, format and angle.

How we run it
Concepts first, AI for volume, tests for decisions. Typical timing: the plan in the first week, the first ads within 2 weeks, and the first test read after 2 weeks of spend.
Step 1
Concepts and angles chosen from data and customer language.
Step 2
Variants made with AI assistance and checked by a person.
Step 3
Structured tests with budgets and decision dates.
Step 4
Results tagged and reported; next month’s brief written from them.

By industry
For jewelry, AI changes settings and formats, never the piece. Detail, scale and true color must stay exactly as they are.
Fashion brands get the most from AI variants: many products, many angles, fast-changing collections to test.
For luxury and one-of-a-kind items, AI helps with copy and formats; imagery stays real and restrained.

Ads made with the help of AI tools: more hooks, copy, sizes and edits per idea, plus the ad platforms’ own generative features. The ideas, product truth and final checks stay human.
Some of them, deliberately. Text variations and format adjustments often help; edits that change the look of premium products often don’t. Meta says advertisers are responsible for previewing AI-generated creative.
AI can change backgrounds, settings and formats, but the product must stay exactly as it is. Altered product images mislead buyers and can break Merchant Center rules.
For Google Merchant Center, AI-generated images must keep their IPTC DigitalSourceType metadata. Platforms also have their own disclosure rules for realistic synthetic content.
Not automatically. AI makes more variants cheaper; structured testing finds the ones that work. Results depend on the concepts and the product.
No. The FTC’s rule bans fake and AI-generated consumer reviews and testimonials. We use real reviews and customer content, with permission.
Fewer than most tools suggest. A handful of variants per concept, each with enough budget to show a result, teaches more than dozens of ads spread thin.
It’s the same discipline with AI used for volume. Ad creative production covers strategy, shoots and testing; AI ads adds AI-assisted variants and the platforms’ generative features, with guardrails.
