Video & social · Video ad production

Video ads built to be tested, not just admired.

We make video ads for brands running Meta, TikTok, YouTube and Demand Gen campaigns. Our video ad production turns your footage, creator clips or motion graphics into ads with a clear hook, proof, offer and call to action, in every size the placements need. Each month’s concepts come with a testing plan.

Fit

Who it’s for

  • Brands spending on Meta or TikTok whose ads have run the same 2 videos for months
  • Advertisers whose results drop every few weeks and who need new creative on a steady schedule
  • Teams with footage, reviews and product shots but nobody to turn them into ads
  • Brands moving budget into YouTube or Demand Gen that have no 16:9 or Shorts-ready video

Not the right fit if you need a TV commercial shoot. We don’t run studio or on-location filming; footage comes from you or creators, plus motion graphics we make in-house.

Problems we fix

Why video ads stop working.

  • 01

    Weak first 3 seconds

A logo or a slow pan opens the ad, and people scroll before the product appears.

  • 02

    One video, one size

A 16:9 file cropped badly into Reels, Stories and TikTok.

  • 03

    Fatigue

The same ads shown so often that frequency rises and results slide.

  • 04

    No test plan

New ads launched at random, so nobody learns which hook or angle worked.

  • 05

    Text in the wrong place

Captions and offers covered by platform buttons and usernames.

  • 06

    Claims that get rejected

Before-and-after or health claims that break ad policies and get the ad pulled.

Before we change anything, we check five things.

A short animated walk-through of the first checks in our audit. No sound needed: everything is on screen, and the transcript is below.

What we check first in your video ads, an animated explainer of 1:09 with on-screen captions and controls to pause.

Read the transcript
  1. What we check first in your video ads Five checks, starting with the first three seconds.
  2. 1. Do the first 3 seconds hold people? A logo or a slow pan opens many ads, and people scroll before the product appears. We compare how many viewers stay past 3 seconds per ad. (Example account.)
  3. 2. One video, every placement? A 16:9 file cropped into Reels, Stories and TikTok cuts off faces and text. Each placement needs its own ratio. (Example account.)
  4. 3. Is text clear of the buttons? Captions and offers under the platform’s buttons and username are unreadable. We check every ad against each platform’s safe zone.
  5. 4. Are the ads worn out? When the same ads are shown too often, frequency climbs and results slide. We compare an ad’s first weeks with its latest. (Example ad in USD, frequency up from 1.6 to 4.2.)
  6. 5. Is there a test plan? New ads launched at random teach nothing. Each test changes one thing, such as the hook or the angle, and gets a decision date.
  7. Then we fix them, in that order. Want this checked on your video ads? The free growth audit covers all five, in writing.

Our approach

Video ad production in five parts.

Part one is the angle. Before we cut anything, each video ad concept gets one buyer, one problem and one reason to buy: “gift buyers who are short of time”, “runners whose shoes rub”, “clinics losing patients to slow replies”. We take angles from your reviews, support questions and the comments under past ads, because buyers describe the problem better than any brief.

Part two is the structure. Most of our video ads follow 4 beats: a hook in the first 3 seconds that shows the product or the problem, proof (the product working, a real review, a demonstration), the offer, and a call to action. TikTok’s own creative best practices stress native, sound-on, vertical video, and we cut for that rather than repurposing a TV-style spot.

Part three is the footage. We don’t run studio or on-location shoots: we have no studio, camera crew or set. Live-action footage comes from you, filmed on a phone or camera to our shot list, or from creators we brief for the job. We also build video ads from product photos, screen recordings and motion graphics, which suit offers, comparisons and launches. Creator footage comes through briefs we write, with usage rights agreed in writing so the clip can run as an ad. For creator-led formats see our UGC video ads page.

Part four is the versions. Each video ad concept gets 3 to 5 hook variants (the first seconds change, the rest stays), in 9:16 for Reels, Stories, TikTok and Shorts, 4:5 or 1:1 for feeds and 16:9 for YouTube in-stream. Captions and offers sit inside each platform’s safe zone, so buttons and usernames don’t cover them. Google’s ad formats help page lists which formats each campaign type takes, and we export to match.

Part five is testing. Each batch comes with a plan: which concepts and hooks to test, against what, with what budget and until when. One change per test (the hook, or the offer, never both), judged on cost per purchase or per lead, not views. Because our team also runs Meta Ads and TikTok Ads, the results come back to the next month’s concepts instead of disappearing into a report.

Every video ad stays inside the rules. No fake reviews or customers (the FTC’s reviews and testimonials rule bans them, AI-generated ones included), no before-and-after claims your product can’t support, and disclosed AI where platforms ask for it. An ad that gets rejected or reported costs more than one that was never made.

Most clients take a monthly batch of concepts, because video ads wear out. The batch size depends on spend: an account spending a few thousand a month can’t test 20 new ads properly, and we’ll say so rather than sell volume nobody can read.

How we use AI here

Where AI helps (and where it doesn’t).

  • Hook and script variants

AI drafts extra hook lines and script versions from the concept; a person picks and rewrites the ones worth testing.

  • Resizing and captions

AI-assisted reframing, captions and clean-up, so each concept ships in every size quickly.

Where it doesn’t help: deciding what’s true. AI doesn’t write claims, invent reviews or show the product doing something it can’t. For fully AI-made ads, see our AI video ads page and its guardrails.

What’s included

Deliverables, not promises.

  • Angles

Buyer, problem and reason to buy for each concept, taken from reviews and comments.

  • Scripts and shot lists

For you or creators, with the hook and proof spelled out.

  • Edited video ads

Hook, proof, offer and call to action, with captions.

  • Hook variants

3 to 5 openings per concept, the rest of the ad unchanged.

  • Every placement size

9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9, with text inside safe zones.

  • Testing plan

What to test, budget and decision date, one change at a time.

How we run it

Four steps, in this order.

Angle, script, edit and version, then test and learn. Typical timing: the brief and script within 2 to 3 workdays, the first cut within 1 week, and final files within 2 workdays of your feedback.

  1. Step 1

    Angles

From reviews, comments and support questions.

  2. Step 2

    Script and footage

You or creators film; we add motion.

  3. Step 3

By industry

What changes for your category.

  • Jewelry

Jewelry video ads work as close-ups on a hand with the price and a gifting date; real customer photos as proof, with permission.

  • Fashion & apparel

Fashion video ads win on try-ons, fit notes and new-arrival drops, with hooks tested by audience and season.

  • Luxury & high-ticket

For luxury and high-ticket items, video ads carry detail, craft and service, and the test metric is often a lead or a consultation.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Can’t find yours? Ask on WhatsApp or by email and we’ll answer it.

What makes a good video ad?

A hook in the first 3 seconds that shows the product or problem, proof that it works, a clear offer and a call to action, cut for the placement it runs in.

How many video ads do we need a month?

It depends on spend. Each test needs enough budget to read, so smaller accounts test fewer concepts properly rather than many at once.

Do you film the video ads?

No. We don’t run studio or on-location shoots. Footage comes from you or from creators we brief, plus motion graphics and product photos we animate.

Which platforms do you make video ads for?

Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, YouTube and Demand Gen, Pinterest and Amazon Sponsored Brands, each in the sizes it needs.

What is a hook variant?

The same ad with a different opening few seconds. Hooks change results most, so we test 3 to 5 per concept and keep the rest identical.

How do you measure video ads?

On cost per purchase or per lead in the ad account and in your store data, with hold rate and click-through rate as early signals, not views alone.

Can you run the ads too?

Yes. Our team runs Meta, TikTok and Google Ads, so test results feed straight into next month’s video ad concepts.

Do you use AI in video ads?

For hook drafts, resizing and captions, yes. We don’t invent reviews or customers, and AI-made scenes are disclosed where platforms ask.
