This page explains how the guides, glossary entries and tools on aboveclicks.com are made. We keep it up to date: when the process changes, this page changes with it.
Who writes our content
Every guide and glossary entry is written and reviewed under Kashif Khan, Founder of Above Clicks, and carries Kashif’s name as author and reviewer. We don’t use invented author personas. Kashif plans each piece, reviews it and approves it before it goes live, drawing on the e-commerce ad accounts and SEO projects Above Clicks runs.
How a guide is made
- Topic and brief. We pick topics our clients and prospects actually ask about, check what people search for, and read the pages that already rank. Each piece gets a written brief: the question it answers, who it’s for, the facts that need checking and the original value we can add.
- Drafting with AI assistance. We use AI writing tools to help research and draft. A draft is a starting point, not a finished piece.
- Fact-checking. Platform features, settings, policies and numbers are checked against official documentation (Meta, Google, Shopify and others) or our own account data. We cite the source where it helps the reader.
- Expert review. Kashif Khan reviews the draft for accuracy and adds what only practitioners know: what we’ve seen work, what breaks and what we’d do first.
- Quality gates. Before publishing, each piece is checked for accuracy, originality, plain-English readability, working links and our voice rules (no hype, no guaranteed results).
Kashif Khan publishes every piece and keeps it up to date.
Numbers and examples
- We don’t invent statistics, results, testimonials or reviews.
- Client examples are anonymized (“a US jewelry retailer”) unless the client has given written permission to be named.
- Results we mention come from our own reports or platform exports, with the timeframe stated.
- Calculators use the formulas shown on each tool page, and we test them.
Updates and corrections
Ad platforms change often, so we review our guides regularly and show the date a guide was last updated. If you spot a mistake, email [email protected] and we’ll check it and fix it. Significant corrections are noted in the guide.
Independence
We don’t accept payment for coverage, and we don’t use affiliate links. When we recommend a tool or platform, it’s because we use it or think it fits the reader’s situation. We do not run paid placements or affiliate links at this time. When a guide compares hiring an agency with other options, we say plainly when an agency isn’t the right choice.
