Web design and SEO packages: what the SEO half of a website project should cover
What a web design and SEO package should cover in each of its 5 phases, from the page plan to the first…
Creative & branding · AI product mockups
We make AI product mockups for brands that need to see a product before it exists. AI builds scenes and materials around your real artwork, such as a new label, a box design or the range in a scene. Every mockup is labelled as a mockup until real photos replace it.

Free mockup brief review
Three fields and you’re done. We look at what you have, say what we’d make and how, and check it against the problems we see most often:
Your plan comes by email as a PDF. If you want to discuss going ahead after reading it, we’ll set up a video meeting. We use your details only for this review.
Fit
Not the right fit if you want mockups to stand in for real product photos on a live product listing indefinitely. Marketplaces and shopping ads expect images that accurately show the product, so mockups lead and real photos follow.
Problems we fix
AI redraws the logo or label, so the mockup isn’t your design any more.
Foil, gloss or colours your printer or factory can’t produce.
A box that looks bigger, slimmer or deeper than the real dieline.
Pre-order shoppers expecting what the render showed.
Generated images in product feeds without the AI metadata Google requires.
Product mockups with the same marble counter and eucalyptus sprig as every other brand.

Our approach
Step one is the real artwork. AI product mockups start from your actual files: the label, the dieline, the logo and the colour references. We place the artwork on the product with a perspective-correct mockup first, so the design is exactly what you approved, and only then let AI build anything around it. A mockup that alters your artwork answers the wrong question.
Step two is the material. We match finishes your supplier can actually produce: matte or gloss, kraft or coated board, clear or amber glass, one or two print colours. If you’re still choosing, we mock up the 2 or 3 options your printer or factory has quoted, so the comparison is between real choices, not finishes nobody can make at your price.
Step three is the scene. AI generates settings for the mockup: a shelf, a bathroom counter, a gift table, a market stall, in the light and mood your brand uses. We keep proportions true to the dieline and the product’s real dimensions, and we keep a few plain packshot-style mockups on white for retailers and pitch decks.
Step four is labelling. Every AI product mockup leaves us marked as a mockup or render in the file name, and we recommend a short “product render” note wherever shoppers might see it before the product exists. On Google Shopping, the Merchant Center product data specification says product images must accurately display the product, not be placeholders, and that images created with generative AI must carry metadata marking them as AI-generated. Mockups are fine for decisions and pitches; for live listings, real product photos replace them as soon as samples arrive.
Step five is the handover. You get the mockups in the sizes you need (presentation, social, retailer sheets), the layered files so the artwork can be swapped when the design changes, and a note of which scenes are AI-generated. When samples arrive, our AI product videos and photo-based work take over from the real product.
Honesty here is also about money. A pre-order customer who receives something different from the mockup asks for a refund and leaves a review. The FTC’s rule on consumer reviews and testimonials also means no AI “customers” holding a product that isn’t made yet. So the mockup shows the real design, real materials and real proportions, and says what it is.
We use the same layered method for this site’s own visuals: real assets locked, AI only where it adds setting or texture, a person checking the result. Client work is shown anonymously: see real client results on our results page.
Most AI product mockups are made for a decision, so we make them comparable. When you’re choosing between two label designs or three finishes, every option is shown in the same scene, light and angle, so the only thing that changes is the design. A product mockup for an investor deck or a retailer pitch gets a plain packshot as well as a lifestyle scene, because buyers want to see the pack itself. Each set of AI product mockups comes with a one-line note of what is real (your artwork, proportions and quoted materials) and what is generated (the scene), so nobody mistakes a mockup for a photo.

How we use AI here
AI generates shelves, counters and lifestyle settings around the mockup.
AI renders finishes, reflections and shadows for the options you’re choosing between.
AI composes the whole range together for pitches and launch posts.
Where we don’t use it: your artwork and the product’s proportions. The design is placed exactly as approved in every AI product mockup, and AI never redraws it.
What’s included
Your real label, logo or packaging design placed in perspective.
Mockups of the finishes your supplier has actually quoted.
Lifestyle and shelf settings in your brand’s light and mood.
Plain, on-white versions for retailers and pitch decks.
Presentation, social and retailer-sheet sizes.
So the artwork can be swapped as the design changes.
Which images are AI-generated, and where to label them.

How we run it
AI product mockups start from real artwork, then materials, scenes and labels. Typical timing: first designs within 2 workdays of the brief, each revision round within 1 workday, and final files on approval.
Step 1
Your artwork, exactly.
Step 2
Finishes you can make.
Step 3
AI settings, true scale.
Step 4
Marked as mockups.

By industry
For online stores, mockups help choose packaging and plan launch posts; real photos replace them on the product page before it goes live.
For luxury and high-ticket brands, mockups compare boxes, foils and inserts before costly samples, in the calm light the brand uses.
For fashion, mockups show labels, swing tags and mailer boxes; the garment itself comes from real samples, not generated drape.

Images that show your product, label or packaging design on the product or in a scene before it’s made, with AI generating the setting, materials and light.
No. We place your real artwork in perspective first and lock it. AI only builds the scene, light and materials around it.
For pre-orders, clearly labelled, yes. Google Merchant Center requires images that accurately show the product and AI metadata on generated images, so real photos should replace them.
Yes. We mock up the finishes and materials your supplier has quoted, so you compare real options before paying for samples.
Realistic enough for decisions, pitches and launch posts. That’s why we label them as mockups wherever shoppers might see them.
Yes, through our packaging design service. Mockups show a design; packaging design creates it, dieline and print files included.
