Meta Conversions API on Shopify: set it up in 5 steps, then check it works
On Shopify, the Meta Conversions API is a setting, not a coding project. Here's how to switch it on in 5 steps,…
Video & social · Product video production
As a product video production company, we make product videos for online stores: short videos on what a product is, how it works and why it’s worth it. With your footage, photos, motion graphics and AI-assisted editing, we cut every ecommerce video for product pages, Amazon, Meta, TikTok and YouTube. We don’t run studio shoots, and we say so up front: you or a creator film to our shot list.

Free product video brief review
Three fields and you’re done. We look at what you have, say what we’d make and how, and check it against the problems we see most often:
Your plan comes by email as a PDF. If you want to discuss going ahead after reading it, we’ll set up a video meeting. We use your details only for this review.
Fit
Not the right fit if you need a film crew, a studio set or models on location. We don’t offer studio filming. If your product can’t be filmed on a phone (very large items, for example), we’ll say so before you pay anything.
Problems we fix
The product page relies on photos, so buyers can’t see size, texture or how it moves.
A 16:9 brand film squeezed into 9:16 Reels, with the product cut off at the edges.
The first 3 seconds show a logo, not the product, and people scroll past.
No captions or on-screen text, so muted viewers never learn what they’re looking at.
An uncompressed video that slows the product page it was meant to help.
Effects that make the product look bigger, brighter or different from what arrives.

Our approach
Part one is the brief. For each product video we write down the 3 questions buyers ask before they order (how big is it, what is it made of, how does it work), the one reason it’s worth the price, and where each video will run. That decides the shots, the length and the ratios before anything is filmed, so nobody films 40 minutes of footage that answers none of them.
Part two is the footage, and here we’re plain about our limits. We don’t run studio or on-location shoots: we have no studio, camera crew or set. Live-action footage comes from you, filmed on a phone or camera to our shot list, or from creators we brief for the job. Most products film well on a recent phone with daylight, a plain background and a steady surface; our shot list says exactly which angles, close-ups and in-use moments we need, with example frames. We can also build videos without new filming, from your existing product photos, 3D renders and motion graphics.
Part three is the edit. We cut 15 to 60 second product videos that show the product in the first second, then its size, material, key feature and use, with captions and short on-screen text so the video works on mute. Our in-house pipeline covers motion graphics (Remotion), 2D animation, simple 3D product shots (Blender), AI narration when you want a voice-over, captioning and loudness mastering, so a product line gets one consistent look. Our client video work is shown anonymously: see real campaign results in our YouTube Ads results and TikTok Ads results.
Part four is the versions. Each finished product video is exported for the places it will run: 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 1:1 or 4:5 for feeds, 16:9 for YouTube and the product page, plus a short loop for collection pages. Amazon listing videos follow Amazon’s own upload rules in Seller Central (no external links, no review claims, no prices that can go stale), and we check those rules on each job because they change.
Part five is the product page itself, where our development background matters. A product video that slows the page costs sales, so we compress it, give it a poster image, lazy-load it the way web.dev recommends and add it as Shopify product media, which needs a theme that supports video according to Shopify’s product media help. Where it suits SEO, the video gets a watch page and VideoObject markup.
One rule runs through all five parts: the video shows the product as it arrives. No colour grading that changes the product’s colour, no AI scenes presented as real footage, no reviews or customer quotes we can’t show you the source of. The FTC’s rule on consumer reviews and testimonials bans fake and AI-generated testimonials, and accurate video also means fewer returns.
Delivery is simple. You get a shared folder of product videos with the masters, every ratio, caption files and a one-page note on where each video should go. If a product video underperforms as an ad or on the product page, we recut the opening or the order of shots rather than starting again, because most product videos fail in the first 3 seconds, not the last.

How we use AI here
AI tools help with rough cuts, background clean-up, captions and resizing, so more time goes into the hook and the product shots.
AI voice-over and translated captions when you want them, always disclosed and checked by a person for accuracy.
Where it doesn’t help: showing the product. We don’t generate the product itself with AI, and we don’t create AI “customers”. The product in the video is the product in the box.
What’s included
Buyer questions, the selling point and the placements for each product.
Angles, close-ups and in-use moments, with example frames, for you or a creator.
15 to 60 second product videos with captions and on-screen text.
Animated callouts, feature labels and product-photo animation where footage is thin.
9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9 exports, plus a short loop for collection pages.
Compressed, lazy-loaded video with a poster image, added as product media.
Licensed music and a record of who owns what, so the videos can run as ads.

How we run it
Brief, footage, edit, versions, then the product page. Typical timing: the brief and script within 2 to 3 workdays, the first cut within 1 week, and final files within 2 workdays of your feedback.
Step 1
Buyer questions and placements agreed per product.
Step 2
You or a creator film to our shot list, or we use photos and motion.
Step 3
First cut, your feedback, final cut with captions.
Step 4
Every ratio exported and the product page set up.

By industry
Jewelry needs close, slow shots that show sparkle and scale on a hand or neck, without colour grading that changes the metal or stone.
Fashion sells on fit and movement: a short try-on or walk, the fabric up close and the size the model wears, in 9:16 for Reels and TikTok.
For luxury and high-ticket items, detail and craft justify the price: macro shots, the materials, the packaging and a calm, unhurried edit.

Platform rules change. These are the official pages we check the work against, so you can check it too.

Making short videos that show a product clearly: what it is, its size and material, how it works and why it’s worth buying, cut for product pages, marketplaces and ads.
No. We don’t run studio or on-location shoots. You or a creator film to our shot list, or we build the video from product photos, 3D renders and motion graphics.
Yes, for most products. A recent phone, daylight, a plain background and a steady surface, filmed to a clear shot list, give us footage that edits into a clean product video.
Usually 15 to 60 seconds. Show the product in the first second, then size, material, the key feature and the product in use. Longer demos suit considered purchases.
Each video is exported in 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 1:1 or 4:5 for feeds and 16:9 for YouTube and product pages, with caption files.
Not if it’s set up properly. We compress the file, add a poster image and lazy-load the video, so it loads only when the shopper reaches it.
Yes. We edit to Amazon’s upload rules in Seller Central, with no external links, review claims or prices, and cut Sponsored Brands video versions too.
For editing, captions, resizing and disclosed voice-overs, yes. We never generate the product itself with AI or invent customers, so the video matches what arrives.
